Description
* We have received reports that the bulk carrier DEVON BAY (IMO: 9622849) capsized and subsequently sank at a position approximately 55 nautical miles north-west of Scarborough Reef on 23 January 2026.
* It is reported that the local coast guard rescued the crew following the incident; however, two crew members died as a result of the incident.
* There will likely be loss or damage to cargo and this will give rise to Recovery issues.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with the cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
