Description
* We have received reports that containership COLORADO (IMO:9973690) experienced a fire on board in a position approximately 970 nautical miles East of Sapporo, Japan, on 22 September 2025.
* The incident occurred as the vessel was proceeding from Yantian to Los Angeles.
* It is reported that the crew successfully contained the fire and the vessel has been diverted to Busan, South Korea, for inspection and possibly repairs.
* It is possible that General Average and Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
