Description
* We have received reports that the combined oil and chemical tanker Seyma (IMO: 9596777) experienced an engine failure off the entrance of the River Mersey, UK, on 9 November 2024.
* Reports indicate that the vessel was taken under tow by a tug to its current anchorage in Liverpool, where it has been moored for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
