Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier YANGZE 6 (IMO:9718909), ran aground whilst navigating the Cape Fear River shortly after departure from Wilmington, USA, on 16 July 2024.
* It is reported that the vessel was refloated with the assistance of four tugs and the vessel returned to Wilmington later the same day for inspection.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
